So I got married today. We're keeping it a secret but I have to tell someone so I had to post. It was very surreal. We went to this woman's house and she said "are you going to exchange rings?" and we told her no, because this is a secret and we just want it quick and casual. So she asked if we even wanted a ceremony and we said no, not really. So it went a little something like this... "nick, do you want to marry bridget?" of course he said yes. "bridget, do you want to marry nick?" duh... "blahblahblah, you're married". We paid her and left. Crazy!

Actually it was just weird. It was literally her asking us if we wanted to marry each other and then we paid her and left. Nothing romantic, no tears, no kiss the bride. We did highfive when we got out to the car. Lol! And no, we didn't know this woman. She was the person who did the paperwork for our license and we asked if she knew any notaries who could legalize it and she turned out to be one. We didn't want it to be special since we're not telling anyone and we'll be having a big wedding with our families sometime next year. I'm still excited though!

I'm 27 and we'd been engaged for over a year.

Terra, my real wedding is going to be spectacular. We're going for a 50's-60's feel and we're going to drive off in a pink convertible! I just can't plan it right now when I have all this baby stuff to plan. I'll get back into after he's born though.

don't feel bad, when me and jon got married it was pretty much the same. The person who did it was the deputy county clerk. It was in the basement of the courthouse and I swear to god she was drunk. She did make us do the repeat after me crap though, but it was something she made up. We were laughing the whole time. At one point she said " Dr. Phil says that if you can do this one you'll be together forever" I thought the whole thing was funny, but after we got home I was a little sad, but all that matters is that we are married now!
