Q: Stroller And Car Seat Help...

Hey ladies. My mom got this stroller and carseat for us she found at a garage sale it looks brand new. But I looked and the manufactor date is year 2000. So...Can I still use the car seat? Cuz I thot it has to be after a certain year I think its 2002. Is it really a big deal? Cuz I dont wana go buy a whole new stoller and carseat :s. Thanks babes!

I had second hand stuff for my second bub as long as I looks an feels safe an sucure an the care seat goes in with out sliding around youll prob be fine

The smart thing to do would be to look up the model of the car seat/stroller on the internet and find out if there were any recalls on it. If it was deemed unsafe after a couple of years, that's information you really need to know. When it comes to car seats and cribs, you should really be careful about accepting hand-me-down items until you know they're safe to use.
