I did have one time silly unprotected sex
for about 30 seconds and I ejaculated
inside her. She never checked her hiv
status. She said she had 15 partners
before. I already check with anti-hiv
test in 5 days and 38 days and all
comebacks negative. I do not have any
symptoms until now (6 week now), except
sometimes I have itchy and sore throat.
1. What is my risk to get hiv +?
2. Do you think I will get negative
result after my 3 months test?
Because i’m really worry right now.

Unprotected sex carries a risk for hiv.
Depending on the specific circumstances of
the episode, the risk factor varies.
Given that it was a one time, brief
encounter, the odds are in your favour
that you are negative.
It is unimportant to your risk whether you
ejaculated or not.
You should test at three months, and use
condoms every single time with people of
unknown or positive status.
Yes, a risk, but not a high one.

Though your results will be negative, its
a lesson learnt the hard way. So in the
future trust more on condoms than on the
girl. That gives the best protection.
Symptoms usually could occur much earlier
like a month or so. However, throat
infection and sore throat cannot be taken
as a definite symptom for hiv infection.
It could be a cause of other viral
illnesses as well
