Eating Disorder: Can my Doctor admit me Against my Will? Posted: 06-11-06 17:05pm
I have had an eating disorder since I was
fifteen years old. I am currently in a
crisis as the doctors call it, I don't
think so but anyway. My doctor who
specializes in eaating disorders want to
admitt me to the hospital. I do not want
to go. Can she admitt me against my
will?
You are definitely underweight! I
recommend you listen your doctor go to a
hospital. Nobody can force you against
your will but your real problem is, in
fact, YOUR WILL. You will need parenteral
(intra venous) nutrition and expert help
from a mental health specialist to gain a
healthy life.
