Well, here I am once again, which yet
another scared-to-death question.
I know I probably shouldn't be freaking
out the way I am, but it's in my nature...
I'm a worry-wart to the max.
I've been taking my pills 110%
correctly... Everyday, have yet to miss
a pill. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I
had sex with a new and different condom...
It was one with spermicide/lube.
Unfortunately, it broke, but he noticed
right away and pulled out.
Now, should I be in a panic like I am?
Or should I be okay? Considering i'm
taking the pill correctly, and the condom
had spermicide on it....
Any thoughts on this? Perhaps something
to ease my mind? =*(

I think that you will be fine. Obv. Wait
see if your period comes.... If not take
a hpt. Otherwise relax.. Esp as ur
taking ur pills.
Also its understandable ur freaking out...
Its sumamts u dont wanna happen... I
would be unbelievably worried if the
condom broke so its only natural you
should be.

I think you are perfectly fine.
There is always that chance that you are
able to get pregnant.
But the pill was made so if the condom
breaks and he goes off inside of you, you
are still protected.
Girls all over who are on birth control
aren't using condoms, the guy goes inside
them and they are fine..
If your taking the pill correctly, then
you are protected, if you were using a
condom, then you are more then protected,
it broke but if he even went inside you,
you should still be perfectly ok, and if
he said he pulled out, thats even better
news becuse then not much would have
gotten inside you at all.
But in my own opinion I think you are
perfectly safe, but no matter what is done
that deals with sex, there is always a
chance of pregnancy..Always! Even if its
the smallest as possible

No problem :)
i know exactly what you mean!!!
Alwsys hearing input from other people
puts my mind at ease. And sometimes
things get so stressful
but i'm always reading stuff on the net
and asking people to make sure I get the
right answers and if im that scared I just
get plan b..
But when I went in to get birth control I
swear I asked my doctor in 5 difference
ways that as long as im on the pill,
taking it correctly, ig my boyfriend and I
decide not to use a condom and he goes
inside me will I be protected and she
reassured me all times that id be fine..
Then some friends who are on the same pill
as me or other ones, only been on it for a
month or so say they're bf's have gone
inside them and they are protected, no
signs of pregnancy etc.
So not only are you assured by your pill
but you also had a condom. I really think
your perfectly fine :)
You'll be fine, this happened to me a few
months ago and my poor boyfriend was so
afraid he started to throw up. We never
use just one form, so it breaking really
freaked us out. We even drove to the
hospital to get a m.A.P. But they didn't
give them.. Although there is always a
chance of pregnancy, I say you're fine.
I'm not going to tell you not to worry,
because you're going to, and your
boyfriend probably will too.
Worrying may seem stupid, and my bf and I
tried to convince ourselves that we were
crazy for worrying while no one else we
knew worried, but truth is worrying just
means you both care about your bodies and
the risks.
I worried for over a week even though I
had been taking mine on time and using
condoms.
So good luck!!!!

Thank you for your reply. I agree with
you 110%... For some people, it's almost
impossible to not worry. I wish I was
more calm however, but at the same time,
if I wasn't over-cautious and
over-worried... Who knows what mistakes
might happen. I'd rather be worried and
think the worst, only to find out that I
was wrong and it wasn't as bad as I
thought it was going to be... Then I
feeel an rush of relaxation.. And I like
that feeling lol
anyway... I recieved my period on the day
I was supposed to get it, so I was able to
experience that rush of relaxation I was
speaking out... Lol
