Q: Due Date Math - Your Thoughts?

Can a baby being born the first week of february 2004 have been conceived during the last week of june 2003?

Simple arithmetic and general knowledge of a pregnancy calendar assumes that a baby born the first week of february 2004 would have been conceived on or around may 12, 2003.

What are the odds, if any, that this is not the case and a baby born the first week of february 2004 would have actually been conceived six weeks later, the fourth week of june 2003?

Am I missing something?

I think it may really be hard to tell until the baby is actually born. My sister recently had a baby and had 3 different due dates that were each 2 weeks apart. She ended up having the baby a full month after her initial due date (first date was end of oct, baby came 11/24). With all of the science involved, doctors are still wrong sometimes.

Why not use a due date calculator?

Question...
Russel-
are you trying to figure out when the baby is due? Or, when the baby was conceived?

Thanks for the feedback. Some clarifications...

I know when the baby is due. The baby is due the first week of february 2004.

I am trying to find out when the baby was, therefore, conceived. Simple math, the human gestation period and a calendar suggest that a first week of february 2004 due date would suggest conception on or around may 12, 2003.

I am therefore asking this community if it is reasonable to suggest that with such a due date, first week of february 2004 (even with the suggested conception date of middle may 2003), could the baby have been conceived at the end of june 2003 - full six weeks later.

If the due date is correct, then it would seem that the baby was not concieved at the end of june. Just keep in mind that there is always a possibility that the due date is incorrect.
