Baby Dropped At 30 Weeks...normal?? Posted: 06-11-06 21:42pm
My little one has seemed to have dropped
already. Everyone is noticing my belly
being much lower. I feel so much more
pressure on my bladder now as well. Is it
normal to drop this early? As of my
ultrasound 2 weeks ago, she is already in
the head down position. Anyone experience
this and still carry full term?
Thanks!

Perfectly normal especially in a first pg.
My wee man drop at about the same time
and I had to suffer the pressure on my
bladder and general uncomfortablness for 7
more weeks. Hang in there your almost
there :-)

I am 32 weeks today. I dropped sometime
last week because wenesday of last week
none of my pants would fit right....Felt
really different and everyone told me that
it (my bump) looked lower and that she was
poking a lot farther out there. I go for
an ultrasound on thursday and we shall see
where she is at.....But I think she is
still feet down the way that she kicks on
my bladder.

Thanks for everyones input. I have a
doctors appointment on tuesday so we will
see what he says.
Sunflower- are you feeling the braxton
hicks contractions as well? Sometimes
they wake me up in the middle of the night
they are so strong. Let me know what you
find out at your ultrasound on thursday.
When is your due date?

My due date is august 7th.
The braxton hicks aren't that bad, but
when I do have them they tighten up and
then in 30 - 40 mins it finally lets up.
So I am uncomfortable most of the time
when I have them. But they havn't really
woken me up at night. They normally
start if I have been doing a lot of
walking and stuff like that. Now that
she has dropped walking thru the parking
lot at work is horrible. I hate leaving
at night because I have been working all
day and finally wore my self out that by
the time I get to my car I am in tears and
just can't stand it anymore.
