Yesterday morning, my girlfriend and I had
sexual intercourse with a condom
lubricated in non-oxynol 9. Her
menstrual cycle began on june 4 and ended
on june 7. She doesn't know for sure
when her ovulation schedule is (she didn't
know how to find out for sure, though I
have read a doctor can help her find out),
though I have read it is typically 14 days
after the beginning of her period.
I pulled out (we were going to move
around) and noticed the condom was broken.
I had not ejaculated yet. I noticed
there was some preseminal fluid on the tip
of my penis, but it looks like the
non-oxynol 9 came in contact with it,
because it looked kind of "soapy."
there wasn't much, and it is possible
maybe there was some that got inside of
her, I would imagine.
We were not using any other form of birth
control, only the condom.
We are discussing whether or not she
should get the emergency contraception
pill.
Given the scenario of the type of condom
used, her menstrual cycle, and the
spermicide coated condom, what are the
chances of her becoming pregnant and
should she look into getting with a doctor
about the emergency contraceptive pill
today or tomorrow (2-3 days after
intercourse, respectively)?
Thank you for your help.

Well since im not like everybody else that
just wants to look and be nosey but not
reply im going to help you!. The odds of
her getting pregnant is very low you
usually ovulate between 11-17 days after
your period and thats with the odds of
doing it every other day I really dont
think that there is anything to worry
about, next time be a little more carefull
and get her on the pill if you and her
dont want to get pregnant.
