I have been hearing if you cruch on ice
your iron is most likely low~! If anyone

Totally not true. An iron deficiency
would make you weak and lightheaded among
other things...Not make you want to crunch
ice.

Actually, it is true - but not for
everyone. Some people chew ice because
they are nervous or just want something
crunchy. But in some instances, anemic
individuals will chew ice - its a
condition called pica. Some people with
pica even crave dirt. It's a very
strange, yet fascinating condition.

This is actually true! I just found out a
week ago that I had Iron defienciency
Anemia. I am truelly addicted to ice so I
decided to do the research and this
condition is known as pica, a "disorder"
associated with anemia.
