Well, after I skipped my period more than a month ago, and we had ourselves a little pregnancy scare- seems we aren't quite as "scared" as we thought we were, and are now actually considering trying for baby 3 !!

We have two beautiful daughters, which we are delighted about, because we wanted a girl to begin with, and then we wanted her to have a sister.
I have a feeling, if we were to have another baby, it might be a boy- and we've gotten ourselves a bit excited about the prospect of a son. We've even pretty much decided on a name for him !!
My family seems to only have one sex or another- girls, or boys, only 2 of my aunties have a mix- one had 3 boys then a girl, one has one of each. Everyone else has 3, 4 and even 5 kids of the same sex.
All my cousins (girls) have only had girls so far (at least 16 of them! Plenty of girl cousins for my girls-if they didn't all live in dublin and london that is!!)

do you think I hve a hope in hell of having a son? Does anyone know of anything I can do to increase the odds? Anyone tried those special diets and timing and stufff with any success? Or is it all just a bunch of crap to sell books and old wives tales?

I have 3 sisters an my mums sister has 5 girls an all but 2 of my cousins are girls I hav a girl an a boy I was doin the tempriture thing were I took my temp evry mornin befor I got out if bed for a month then in the second month I did it but when my temp whent up an only like 2 degrees then we would hav sex an did that untill I got pregnant think it took few months an I had a boy dont no if this realy does work but I got the first boy in a long time good luck

Oooooooh, really.

I'm going to look that up- how to do the temperaturwething- becuse, if we do decide to go for it now, then it will be our last baby, so, my last chance really.

I'm going to do all the "right" things- can't hurt to give it a try, and if it doesn't work, what the hell, we'll have another beauiful girl, and be able to use all our pink stuff again!!

Extremely eHealthy

There is nothing you can do to increase the odds of having a specific sex. The sperm will determine that at conception. They claim that if you have sex just right before ovulation you have a higher chance of having a boy because the sperm is fatser and will swim to the egg quicker than the female.. But this is not scientifically proven. All you can do is cross your fingers for a boy! Good luck!
