Eww, Food!! Help Posted: 06-13-06 16:15pm
Hey well the past week my sickness came on
and im sick through out the whole day :(
I cant eat anything and I get even sicker
if I dont! I can barely get fruit down.
I .H.A.T.E. Meat now! I cant even eat
chicken, my favorite!! It makes me wana
gag just thinking about it. Im really
afraid that me not being able to eat right
is going to have an effect on my baby.
Did anyone else have this problem?
And if so, what helped you??
I need some advice!!

Eat whatever sounds good or whatever you
can keep down. If it gets too bad, you
might want to get in touch with your
doctor.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Try keeping some crackers by your bed and
eating a couple before you even get up in
the morning, and always try to keep a
little something in you...As in don't let
yourself get completely empty cause that
makes you feel even worse. Truthfully, I
wasn't super sick but the few weeks where
I was the only thing I could keep down
were peanut butter crackers...And make
sure you are getting enough fluids...
But if you are throwing everything up you
need to get ahold of your doctor, he could
give you something to help...
Take care and know that your baby will be
fine, and that this will most likely pass
in a few weeks!
Take care

I Went Through the Same Thing!!!!! Posted: 06-13-06 21:32pm
I am about 4 1/2 months along....(well now
they think 6) - but I was very sick for
atleast 6 weeks. I lost 14 lbs total. I
didn't get dehydrated so I was fine....But
I could not eat a thing - not even water.
I just had to force toast and juice down.
It was terrible. Make sure to let your
doctor know though so they can make sure
you stay hydrated. One thing that did
help is stopping my prenatals (my doctor
said to)! Lying in bed only makes is
worse - like the room is spinning when you
get up. Try to get some fresh air. I
came through it, and I am sure you will
too. Good luck sweetie......Feel free to
ask any questions.

Onions Posted: 06-14-06 16:40pm
I love fried onions but in the last week,
im 6 weeks gone, with twins (pray hope
their ok) even the thought of them makes
me heave and gag. Its sooo bizarre why
does this happen? Is it only meat that
does it to you?

i have no clue why it happens. I loved
spegettii and then bam just tha thought of
it made me wana barf. Sodas, meat,
veggies, mostly everythng. The only thing
I can eat or drink is jello, fruit loops,
cucumbers, salad, krackers and orange
juice. Im hoping this will get better
soon cuz it sucks.
Is it only onions that does this to you or
is there more??

In the evenings I cant eat anything apart
from exactly what im craving at the time,
last night it was oranges( I ate 6) and
the night before it was spaghetti
carbanara. But no its is only onions that
makes me gag 24/7. But at the moment im a
fiend for hot orange squash its killing my
morning sickness right off.
