It didn't bother me too much, now that could be causei have a bunch of tattoos and had piercings or because it doesn't hurt. They make you kind of hug someone in front of you so you are bent over and slack and then they do it. It's not a pain as much as a weird feeling, I kept saying, "it feels like my back has to poop." lmao

Ouch!!!! Jesus girls!! I always get much props from having my baby drug free...But honestly..I gotta give yall props for actually .L.E.T.T.I.N.G someone stick a needle in your back!! Yikes!!

In your case .Buddah it's a good thing that you got it before your emergency section, cuz they would've rushed to get it in and i'm sure that would've hurt more!!

It's never been a question for me. I'm hands-down getting an epidural. My pain tolerance is ridiculously low, and i'm the biggest baby when i'm hurting. I had mild contractions a couple of months ago brought on by dehydration, and I remember thinking "if I can't handle these, what am I going to due when i'm really in labor?" i'll take the huge needle in the back, thanks!

When you've reached the point where you accept the epidural, they could pretty much say-now, you know we'll need to set fire to your head, and stick knives up your ass? And you'd just be like- whatever- what's the hold up here? Don't you keep these knives and matches ready to go?Jesus.

I was with my friend when she was to that point el and the guy was like

hi I am the nutritionist and they have asked me to come and give you your epidural because the anesthesiologist is on break.

My friend was so delearous she was just like ok....Make me feel better.

It was funny.

With my first delivery the c-section was an emergancy and they just gave me the local. I was not with the program at the time (because of the seazures) but I can tell you that the next day that I woke I didn't even realize I had given birth until they started telling me and then it all came back to me.

I think this time I don't want an eppi I think i'll just get the local. I'll have to talk to the dr about that.

Yikes yall!! All this talk about an epidural makes me cringe!!! Just go drug free...You're body will do all the work for you. All you have to do is lay therre and release the pain through your toes...

Or at least that's how I coped. Instead of tightening up, I would just breathe and wiggle my toes. It was awesome to feel her toes coming out of me!!

Lol...I hear ya. I just have a .H.U.G.E phobia of needles. I even refused an .I.V. I allowed the use of oxygen, but that was it.

They let me get in the shower during labour, they let me walk around, squat, sway from side to side. There was noo way that laying in a bed was going to help me with contractions. I felt that the shower was the best, but swaying and squatting sped up the process like you wouldn't believe.

This was my 1st child and I had her with 2 1/2 hours of arriving at the hospital. I pushed for maaybe 30 mins. If that....It was incredible!!

Epidural or not, birth is the most insane event to take place in a person's life!!

Good luck with yalls decisions!!
