Things to Do With Baby
Posted: 06-14-06 01:17am

I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at home with my baby daughter for the first year. My husband and I have only one vehicle and he leaves for work at 5 am. This means that I am at home with my daughter all day. Due to the weather we stay at home during the week and rarely get outside. I love spending time with her and she is a very active 4 1/2 month old. However, I am struggling to find things to do with her to occupy the whole day.
We start our day at 8 am and play until 1pm. She has a 30 min. Nap and then we play until 3. She then goes down for 1-2 hrs. And is up again until nearly midnight!

I have a swing for her, a jolly jumper and a bouncy seat for her to sit in. We play on her back and tummy on the floor and do exercises together on my yoga ball. I look forward to time with her but I am interested in other mother's imput as to what else I can do. I am getting bored, especially when she is, as I said earlier, an active child and likes to keep busy. I give her time by herself, but after 15 minutes she's calling for me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
