Speaking of Discharge...
Posted: 06-15-06 14:42pm

Last night I had a white, pasty substance in my undies (they are black so that's how I could tell the discharge is white). It wasn't mucus-like at all, it was like a paste. I am 16 weeks today, is this normal or am I a freak that should call the doctor?

It won't hurt to ask your doctor it could be an infection I had one and had discharge like that. They just give you some meds

Thats completely normal! Its because you have increaed circulation being pregnant I dont know why but thats what my dr told me. If you are really concerd you can talk to your dr and they look at it under a microscope to make sure ints not anything bad or a yeast infection. =0)

There really is no need to ask your dr about this...If it was an infection is would smell from here to kingdom come and would look greenish! Trust me there is a difference with infected type mucus and regular healthy mucus. Clumpy, creamy, stretchy, watery are all normal and necessary!
