has been beating extremely hard and
fast..about 185 a minute and it hurts..i
can see my heart pressing against my ribs
and i dont think this is normal. I also
have been experiencing alot of pressure in
my chest and sometimes i have trouble

doctor yet..I am wondering whats happening
with me and if i should be very worriedd..
please respond, thanks!
A heart rate of 185 beats per minute (if
you have, indeed, measured it correctly)
is high and you should visit a doctor. I
don’t expect at your age that you are
experiencing a serious heart disease
(angina pectoris etc.). A physical
examination (auscultation) and ECG will be
requested in order to help diagnose the
condition. It is typical for young people
to experience psycho-emotional problems
that manifest as subjective heart
problems. Your general doctor can help
you perform these examinations and follow
up with recommendations.
