Yeah I have them all the time too. They do feel like period cramps but not that bad. I guess you should worry if they are really painful that you cannot move or do anything and of course if you are bleeding thats the most important. Just earlier this week on monday and tuesday I had a really bad backache. That at points I couldnt even be standing cause it hurted my mom said it was probably a bad sign but I just went to sleep and the next day it wasnt that bad and now im better. Then I went online looking for stuff of that and backache is common during pregnancy especially during your 30wks but im only 21wks so when I go to my doctor again I will ask her and if your still interested I will let you know what she says.

I had an irritable uterus which felt like cramping. Imagine, a small uterus growing a human getting stretched and kicked - of course it would get irritable! ;)

any cramping, especially if it is rythmic, or more than 6 contractions per hour, need to be discussed with your doctor.

If you are ever concerned, you can call and talk to the nurse at your doctor's office. They are .G.R.E.A.T at putting your mind at ease.

When I was around 8 wks pregnant, I had severve cramps that made me vomit and just feel weak. I though it was just normal morning sickness, but my doctor told me that I had bacterial vaginosis, which is common in some pregnant women, but can't be treated until your second trimester. If this is the case your doctor will just give you some antibiotics that will clear it up. Also, other signs of this infection is light yellowish coloroed discharge. Which isn't harmful to the baby and it isn't sexually transmitted.
