the fact that a woman isnt even willing to tell her g.P that she is pregnant tells me theres something odd going on,
you can hide your pregnancy all you want but you are going to have to have this baby at some point.
I lived in flats once and this woman lived opposite me, she had both her children taken into care and got pregnant again, she didnt tell a soul. On the night she went into labour she stayed at home as long as she could but eventually her b/f had to phone an ambulance, social services were called and took the baby away.

Why r u so scared to tell ur own doctor you pregnant? When I had my child at 18 social services visited me (because of the father, thank goodness he was no longer around) I always remember them telling me they never take children away unless they really have too. I hate things like this. I dont mean to be rude but it isnt bipolar, theres more to it. If you were a fit mother you would still have your children and you would be doing the best for your unborn child too.

do you know what bipolar is? Chances are she is manic right now and thinks she knows what is best for her, for the entire world. Everything has come into focus. Especially since she has stopped the medication. She isn't going to listen to any of us say anything 'against' her 'plan'. To her, i'm sure, it sounds completely rational. Then will come the crash and she'll drop emotionally like a ton of bricks. That would be my fear, that she'll come down from her bipolar 'high' and will not be able to function. That is when she'll need support the most and hopefully it will be available to her.

I cannot imagine how awful it would be to feel like I was trapped and couldn't turn to anyone for fear of my child being taken away from me! I don't condone the behavior, but I can sympathize with her situation.

She has already had two children taken away from her ~ that is why she doesn't tell her .G.P.
