I really dont know the oddicial name of this blood disorder. My daughter is 21 yrs of age and had her son brayden may 12 2005. She developed this blood disorder after having him. It can be hereditary or developed after having a child. Its symptoms are low blood platelets and low iron lvls never does your iron lvls go above 8. She has had several blood transfusions and blood platlets. Her body is so sensitive to the blood medications they have given her, her dentist has to keep blood on hand for her fer any dental procedures and can not work on her teeth if her iron is under .8. She lives in another state so I havnt gotton the right nasme for it. Shes kina an air head and doesnt remeber the name of it. She has too carry a card with her in case of a car aaccident, she will not stop bleeding. Her blood type is a-. I really dont think its her bloo dtype that is in effect. She did have to have an abortion last year after her first child because hr iud grew into the baby side ways and was in the best interest and this occured after that. She passed out in wal-mart last week holding her son and had to have another blood transfusion and now is not aloud to be left alone. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had this happen to them after the birth of there child. I am a concernd parent. Also my other daughter (now passed away last year at the age of 21) had to have blood transfusions after the viirth of her first child and before the birth of her second child blood type a has anything in common with this. Her death had nothing to do with the blood. I am just a concernd parent asking questions. I had no problems with my three pregnancies. My blood type is a-.
