You are right, no one is really as ready as they think they are. But some have basic skills already in place. You don't. That isn't meant to sound mean, but, sweetie, you don't wait 6 weeks to take a pregnancy test!!!!!!
The pregnancy hormone is in your system
as soon as the baby implants in the uterus. If you were pregnant, it would show by now. Sure, there are circumstances where it doesn't work and some people get a negative test for weeks, but they
go to the doctor because they are taking care of themselves and their unborn child.
Are you taking vitamins? Why not? It is proven that children can have birth defects if you don't take folic acid. Why wait until your boyfriend has surgery? Why not just walk into planned parenthood (it's a walk in clinic, by the way) and get a pregnancy test? It is free. Free as in won't cost you anything. Don't be foolish and put off the inevitable.
If you are not pregnant, get yourself on some birth control. Learn to spell and use grammar, get a good job,
then have a baby.
