Pregnancy And Sex! Posted: 06-19-06 22:38pm
Hi everyone! I am finally into my 3rd
trimester! Whoo! Everything is going
well for me so far though I have some
questions about having sex.
My husband and I haven't hardly had any
sex since I became pregnant. I feel this
is because my last pregnancy was a
miscarriage and I am scared to death of
losing another baby.
We still fool around occationally (make
each other orgasam) though afterwards I
feel terribly guilty and worry lots that I
have hurt my baby. If we try to have sex
then it really hurts. Is that because I
am so tense and worried. I don't feel
comfortable when he is trying to touch me.
I am worried that I am going to get an
infection and it will kill my baby.
Is it fine to use lubricant while
pregnant?
I feel bad for my husbands sake cause I
avoid any intimacy and kept saying no to
sex!
I still get turned on though I stop myself
from doing anything because I worry so
much about bubs.
I haven't said anything to my doctor
because I am too embarrassed so can anyone
help with some advice?

Sex will not hurt your baby. But I can
understand you concern,you could always
ask the doctor if sex is ok and he/she
will explain everything. Just take things
real slowly. Your baby wont get an
infection as nothing can get up there and
they are pretty well protected. Remember
that your cervix is closed till you go
into labour so baby is preety safe from
everything. I had the opposite problem
when I was pregnant that my husband didn't
want to have sex with me, while my sex
drive was through the roof :-)
