im starting my new job for this pretty
good company in the 1st or second week of
feb. They dont know that I am pregnant
yet but I plan on telling them a little
bit after I start. I will have to hide
my growing belly a little bit. (i am 13
weeks right now) anyhow.. Im curious
how maternity leave normally works? Can
I stay working throughout my whole
pregnancy? (it is a sit down job) also.
. How long do most people get off to
be with the baby after its born? I'm
kind of nervous to talk to my boss about
this sense I dont even start until feb.
But I didnt want to tell them before
because I didnt think they would hire me.
But at least they cant fire me for being
pregnant and needed some maternity leave,
right? By the way, the company is called
bar tech associations, it is an auto-type
business and I will be a phone operator
recording car part import and exporting,
if it matters* thanks alot*

Hey kari,
i'm not too positive on how maternity
leave works, im going to find out soon
though! Lol but I do know that usually
you get 6-8 weeks after the baby is
born...As long as your doctor allows it,
there's no reason why you can't work all
the way up until delivery...As long as
you're physically doing good....I have yet
to tell my job that i'm pregnant also, but
I will keep you posted on what happens!

Thanks girls**** what I am aiming for is 6
weeks. That gives me a month n a half w/
the baby and thats how long I plan to
breastfeed for. Just for the first 6
weeks. So hopefully this will be a
tolerable plan for them*
