Quick Question - Please Help
Posted: 06-20-06 21:24pm

I was just wondering...

I've started my 4th pack of birth control pills... I always take them on time and have never missed a pill. My boyfriend and I noramlly use condoms but one time he entered me with nothing on (not all the way, and only for 2 seconds) and another time the condom broke, but he pulled out right away.

I recieved my period on time when it was supposed to come... And everything seems normal.. However i'm still scared about a pregnancy risk....

Any insight on this? Am I okay... Am I clear to relax? Or can you still be pregnant after having a normal "period"....

Adjahdjkshdjashd.
Thank youuuuu to whoever replies.

With birth control you are almost 99% protected, as long as you take the pill everyday, hopefully at the same time.(that way you'll remember and not be late)

you are well protected, but I understand your concerns and fears.

Thank you for your reply... So you're saying I should calm down?
I keep trying to relax a bit... But I have a hard time doing so.

Relax. That is what birth control is for. To prevent pregnancy.

If you had a 100% normal period and you are taking your birth control. You can rest assured you are not pregnant.

Since you have posted many times about your fear of pregnancy, let me remind you that you can also use spermicide along with the condoms and your birth control pills. You would be so heavily protected at that point that you could relax and maybe actually enjoy yourself ;)

You're right... I know I should just relax. I'm so stupid. Thanks for your insight... It helps ease my mind.

no, you aren't stupid! You are concerned. More people should be worried about birth control. But if you are taking it correctly and using condoms, your risk is so low. You should be enjoying sex and not fretting over it. Sex is supposed to be fun ~ and if you are thinking about the minimul risk of pregnancy every single day, that isn't fun!

Yes, you can definitely relax. I used to be very worried if my boyfriend even touched me without a condom, even on the pill, but eventually we just quit the condom thing alltogether, and just use pull-out/ spermicide as a back up. You are very well protected! And if you are taking your pills exactly right you have a very tiny risk of pregnancy even if you weren't also using condoms. Especially if you had a normal period, do not worry.

Thank you everyone for your reply. I'm working on relaxing a bit... But my anxiety is at it's worst these days due to the pill... Ironic isnt it? I'm on the pilll to protect myself and put my mind at ease, however it only gets worse because of how uncontrollable my emotions are due to hormones.

Well, anyhow, thank you all again.
