Q: Cramps

Hey anyone get menstrual cramping during their pregnancy.. I get them and they come and go.. Some are a little stronger than others. They arent.. Painful painful and the docs wont see me because it isnt associated with bleeding. Im a little concerned since two months ago I lost my first baby.. Any info

How far along are you? I had cramps at least once a week just like you said up intill about 16 weeks...Now I have them like once in a blue moon...Im 30 weeks now...Id say as long as there's no blood you shouldnt worry. My mom had cramps with me and my brother too...Im sure its nothing.

yes, cramping similar to menstrual cramps is expected and normal in pregnancy. If they become out of hand you should go to the er and get an emergency u/s.. My friend had the same problem and did just that and it ended up being that her uterus was detaching itself on one side and causing massive painful cramps. They gave her some meds to relieve the pain and all is well now. If there is no bleeding it is a good sign. Hope it gets better.
