Ive just googled it and came up with this page to help you

My friend has severe anxiety and depression has been on paxil for years and is pregnant and her Dr. Told her to switch to zoloft. If it is needed it is safe and drs. Are prescribing it ..So it is fine. They say that taking anxiety meds is worse in the 3 rd trimester simply because the baby will be dependant on the drug.

Ya I was on paxil and stopped it while I was pregnant. It was hard cause it cause severe withdrawal so I had to do it slowly but I did it and i'm never going back on it. Zoloft is usually ok though.

Nahhh! Its normal to feel that but your child is fine....Its doesnt make them have mental issues ...Mostly just the jitters and withdrawl and crankiness!

The only way zoloft is going to really work for you is if you take it exactly as prescribed every day. It isn't a medication that works when you take it on an "as needed" basis, you must take it every day for it to work. If you have concerns about the medication, talk to your obstetrician or pharmacist...They can help you make an informed decision on your treatment. A pharmacist can at least give you the published risks vs. Benefit.

Good luck
