Q: Weird Dream

So I had this really freaky dream last night that I gave birth to a siamies (sp?) cat.. And I didint have any vision of the birth but I was with my boyfriend in this living room and the cat was walking around and I knew it was my baby. My boyfriend kept picking it up and I could tell he really really loved it and he was talking to it and looking at it all glitter eyed. And then the cat came up to me and started puking catipillers, next it was burping bubbles with live beatles and things crawling inside of them. The lil kitty started caca*ting all over the floor and my boyfriend made me clean it up. Lol.. I thought it was really really really weird dream. I just felt I had to share it, if anyone knows anything about dreams and what they mean let me know.

I had a dream a couple of months ago that i'd given birth to a puppy. I wasn't quite sure why the doctors weren't freaking out about it... They were just weighing it and stuff. A week or so after that dream, I had another where I was changing the baby's diaper and the skin on her thigh came off... Revealing a metal skeleton underneath. My baby was one of those .Terminator thingies, and she was .P.I.S.S.E.D that i'd discovered her "secret identity" or whatever, and tried to kill me. Pregnancy dreams are hella weird.

I know it has something to do with whats been going on. All the problems and sh*t. But a cat? Why would I give birth to a cat.. That was what was weird.

Thinking back when I was in prague 4 years ago for some reason I kept having repetative dreams that all involved birth and in one I gave birth to the green teletubie... Lol....Yeaaa.

it all depends on things you've experienced thru out the day,and also how awake your subconcious is when you experience these things.

Heres a quote I **love** that I learned in college...

Our dreams are the source
for those illusive,
below-consciousness feelings
that tend to dive for cover
when they meet
the light of day.

If we are persistent
about searching for
and seeking our dreams,
and our inner self,
the line between the conscious
and the unconscious
will blur.

Ok. . I think. What does that have to do with our dreams? Is it just like since we don't think about it while we;re awake it comes out in our dreams?

Dreams are a way that your mind deals with things that you didn't have time to process or don't really want to think about. I had some freaky dreams during pregnancy about my hubby and baby. It dealt with issues that I was only sort of aware of having, you know, those secret, nagging worries that you push to the back of your brain... I don't know if i'm explaining this right...
