Tazzy d ..
Sometimes when women do not have prenatal
care, the baby can be in distress and the
woman may not even know.
I am so sorry you are later than you
thought....
Can you get another ultrasound just to be
sure??
If all else fails a c-section and adoption
does sound like a good idea.

I was in a car accident about 3.5 years
ago, and I broke my pelvis in 4 places..I
now have a metal plate holding my hips
together, so I cannot deliver normally.

If you were only 24-26 weeks, you could
have an abortion in atlanta ..
Up to 28 weeks, and you could still have
an elective abortion, but you would have
to go to florida.
I understand what you are saying, some
women do see the ultrasound and still do
not want a baby.

this is a list of clinics that perform
later term abortions..There are a few that
go to 26 weeks electively....
But if you claimed depression, and your
hip troubles, you could probably get an
abortion for medical reasons!
It is more expensive to get an abortion
later, but it can be worth it.

I am looking into hysterotomy, which is
injection then cesarean ( a form of
abortion)...The only place I could get it
done is in a hospital..

Yes, I know of that type of abortion
procedure. They normally do it for
medical reasons on later pregnancies, but
some women opt to give birth, obviously
you could not do this.
That does sound like a good idea for you,
and it would be in a hospital.
At a hospital you could pay them in
payments for medical procedures, but at an
abortion clinic you would have to pay up
front...So that is good!
When can you find out if/when they will be
able to do this?

I don't exactly know.. I don't know how
to find a doctor/hospital that would offer
me this option, and i'm not exactly sure
where to start my search.

That is one type of abortion
procedure..But the most common for a later
term abortion is called a d&e... They
dilate your cervix and use suction and
forcepts to remove the fetus, so you do
not need any cutting.
That list of clinics I posted may be able
to help you.

I know, but if I can't deliver normally, I
don't see how I could have a normal
d&e...

With a d&e the fetus is basically
dismembered inside of you, it would go
thorugh a suction tube, your hip bones
would not at all be affected..
Your hips would not need to seperate for
the abortion. The cervix would be dilated
to a bit bigger around than thumb, and the
fetus would be dismembered, and suctioned
out. The head would not pass through your
cervix, it would go through the suction
tube. Nothing would be delivered, it
would all be suctioned out.

I keep reading about all these women
experiencing severe pain from the
dilation..If it's only to about bigger
than a thumb, then why are they in so much
pain?

That is for a late abortion, and early
abortion is dilated to the size of a
pinky-forefinger.
The cervix dilating feels like labor
cramps..So it can be intense for some
women.
The reason they feel pain is because they
did not opt to be put to sleep... They
can put a woman to sleep during an
abortion, but it costs up to 200$ more,
and some women cannot afford to pay that
much. Some clinics have the fee included.

Oh. My menstrual cramps are realllllly
intense, so maybe it won't be so bad..The
pain isn't what i'm worried about, it's
finding somewhere that will do it.
