Hehe im so happy just came home from my
appt. Yay I heard my baby's hb again what
a relief it was 145. I also saw my baby
moving around so cute, aww im getting more
and more in love with my baby. Wait till
I find out the gender and I can start
shopping for my baby. Sounds so fun
already hehe :)

another ultrasound? You're so lucky. I
had my one and only. I wish I could have
just one more! Maybe where I could
actually see the screen :(

Aww snowygirl i'm so excited for you! 18
weeks feels like forever, I thought it did
too. My doc wouldn't let me have one
until 18 weeks but it killed me b/c he
told me when I was having it while I was
only 9 weeks! Talk about a countdown.
But you know what? Time goes so fast! I
get my ultrasound this coming thursday!
Time will go fast for you too! Enjoy:)

How many weeks are you snowygirl?
How are you feeling iheart? You didn't
get to record your ultrasound? We
brought a video tape and recorded the
whole thing. You must be feeling that
baby boy kick alot, I sure do.

Hi betsy! I'm feeling great lately. I
finally look and feel pregnant (those
maternity shirts sure do help!). I'm also
finally feeling movement on a daily basis,
which is just the most amazing feeling
ever. 2 nights ago I was able to feel it
from the outside, it was just 3 hard kicks
but I felt them all the same. Then last
night I was feeling it again so I put my
husband's hand down there and I don't know
if he really felt it but he said he did.
He loved it! So i'm finally over my
paranoia and i'm relazed and so excited
for his arrival. I can't wait!
Anyway, they didn't give me the option to
videotape anything. I couldn't really see
the screen from where I was laying (which
is when I came up with the brilliant idea
that they should have a monitor for the
tech and a seperate monitor for the
mother). She also never stayed in one
area long enough for us to even see the
baby. Most of the time we had no idea
what was on the screen. I'm switching
practices soon though so i'm hoping
they'll want to do an ultrasound and see
things for themselves. We'll see!
How have you been? Are you still going
with ava? I love that, by the way. I
hope all is well with you!

Yeah, I feel the baby everyday too.
Every once in a while I can feel and see
it from the outside. My husband hasn't
felt it yet. When he puts his hand, she
stops. Lol yes, i'm still going with ava
elizabeth. Thanks! Did you pick a name
yet?
We were able to record ours. They had a
vcr hooked up to the monitor. The doctor
faced the monitor to me so I could see
it.
I'm assuming if you switch, they'll do an
ultrasound for their records.

I really hope I get another u/s. I'd love
more pics. I wanted a cute profile shot
but we never saw his profile. We just got
a couple creepy (but cute!) alien face
shots.
Snowy- do they give you pics to take home
with you when you get your scans?
And we're going with finnegan seamus and
we call him finn.

You can't really go by the heartbeat. I
think they say if it's over 150 it's a
girl, but that's not true! I hope you're
having a girl because I know that's what
you really want. But if it turns out to
be a boy i'm sure you'll be just as happy.
I wanted a girl and was disappointed for
about 30 seconds after finding out it's a
boy but now I couldn't be happier. I just
want a baby!
So did he give you the date for your big
u/s? I got mine set up at my 13 week
appt.

Well, my doc said I can try come in at 18
weeks do u think that might be too early
to find the gender? 18 weeks would be
july 28 my big u/s :)

I found out at 18 weeks 1 day so you
should be fine. By then I think as long
as the baby cooperates they should be able
to tell. It was pretty obvious he's a
boy! I also drank orange juice before I
went so he'd be nice and active and not
just sitting there with his legs closed.
Maybe I drank too much because he wouldn't
stop moving!
