I perforated my ear drum and thought I had
swimmers ear and poured that alcohol
solution in my ear! I blacked out from
the pain, but here is my question. I
have lost 2/3 of my sense of taste!!!
Will it come back? What is the damage I
have done? I flew back to uk soon after
and had nasal spray, decongestant and was
fine on the plane so I think the drum has
somewhat healed, but after 1 week, I still
have no taste and I am freaking out! I
am a chef!!!
