antiseptic smell when crying Posted: 01-16-04 09:18am
I know this sounds insane, but i've
noticed that over the past 8months or so,
if I start crying my nose tingles and I
smell this weird anticeptic or cleaning
agent or something like that right when
the tears are welling up in my eyes.
What is this??? I have never heard of
such a thing before and it's really
weirded me out. I want to know what's
causing it and if it means anythings wrong
with me. And for you smart ass people
out there, no, it's not because i'm
cleaning when I start crying.

I would go to an ear nose and throat
doctor to see if you had a sinus
infection.

I don't think it's a sinus infection b/c I
can breath fine and I haven't been stuffy
or anything. Also, why would I have a
sinus infection for like 8 months? Thank

Somebody out there has to have heard of
this or can at least help me by asking
someone who might know. I'm going insane
worrying about this. Why would I smell
anticeptic when I first start crying???
It doesn't make sense.
