I have heard many different people say it
is okay to drink red wine while you are
pregnant. Is this true?

Red Wine Posted: 01-16-04 11:22am
Well I have alos heard many diffrent
things, but whne I was pregnat with my
daughter I went 3 weeks overdue so the
doctor told me to have a small glass
before bed to try and relax me for labor.
I guesss it depends on what your doctor
says but I wouldnt drink wine between the
5 ans 12 weeks becaue thats when the most
important stuff is ddevelpoing.

It may not harm your baby, but there is no
solid proof that is is completely safe.
Personally, I do not drink while pregnant,
just because I do not want to take any
risks. So if you ask me, I would say not
to drink any alcohol while pregnant, just
to be on the safe side. 9 months isn't
that long, and then you can drink all you
want! Goodluck!

I agree with kate....No proof that it
won't do harm, even in small amounts. I
would steer clear of it!
