It al depends on certain factors,i mean were you on a contraceptive before you ttc,the depo can take 2 years to come out of your system. Do you have regular periods,do either of you smoke.

my friend was having unprotected sex with her bf for years and thought the same thing until I told her about timing. Do you know about your fertile time? You cant get pregnant at any time of the month.

Me and the father of my child tried for a year and a half to get pregnant... We did everything from tracking my tempature to wasting money on ovulation test and kits. It will happen when its time. If you feel concern tho... And you think something maybe wrong then I suggest you follow your own thoughts and see your doctor.
I eventually got pregnant at the time where I said that I wasnt going to " try " any more if it happend it happend... It was possible for me... [[ I got the booty every day for one whole month ... Lol ]]
but all my wishes to you and I hope that all goes well for you .. !!

My husband and I tried for a year also and nothing. At first I was planning on what month I wanted my baby to be born so we would only try on a certain time of the year every month and nothing would happen so we just kept trying for the whole year. And like jen said after I gave up and told my husband I wasnt gonna try anymore thats when I got pregnant. So like jen said it just happens when it happens. But keep trying and unless infertility runs in your family which I doubt it or you have had any other uterus problems before youll be fine. Good luck!!!!!

Ladies, I am sorry but I think its more of an educational question. Does she know her cycle? When she ovulates? Cervical mucus? Charting? Luteal phase? And I also know for a fact infertilty is not hereditary because infertility is caused by many different reasons which are not passed on such as blocked tubes, pcos, sperm issues and so on.

It is recommended that after 1 year of trying, you go see a doctor.

Yes, emma, I agree. Education.

Check to find out your fertile timing. For some girls, they can get prego naturally, others have a better chance when they know the times when their more fertile!

Another thing you should do, is go to the doctors office, and have him and yourself checked! You could have a small hormonile unbalance and could get shots for it, or he may have a very low count.

Best of luck to ya hun!!!

(my family is full of nurses, so I know alot about this stuff)
