Am I Pregnant?
Posted: 06-27-06 10:23am

Hi I am 19 years old and I am very confused about something... I took a home test and showed it to my friend well then I go to the doctor and they tell me its negative so I didn't think I was pregnant... But now my stomach is hard as a rock and everyone is telling me I have the baby bump and it grows as the days go by.. Now they took a blood test to which came up negative how am I suppose to find out if i'm pregnant or not. I'm going through a bad stage of depression wondering is something is really wrong with me but everyone sees the change in me and everyone thinks for a fact that I am pregnant. Please help!!!

You're not pregnant if the urine and blood tests came up negative. And a baby bump doesn';t show for at least 3-4 months and your stomach wouldn't get hard before 7-8 months. So you're not pregnant.

If the both tests came out negative and especially a blood test it means youre definetely not pregnant. The bump does only show later and it doesnt always mean youre pregnant just cause you have a belly. How long has it been since your last period?

Depo messes with your system, I did not start to get regular period untill about 8 months after I got off it.

Ahhh that explain it all !!! Depo will keep you infertile for upto 18 months and mess your cycle up exactly the way it is now. I would never take that ever!

Even most doctors and nurses I talk to say they will only reccomend depo if you really don't want to get pregnant anytime soon or for repeat abortioners.
