I have a three year old and had been trying for months to get pregnant. I went to the doctor on wenesday and found out that I am pregnant but I have been having cramps mainly at night in my back and tummy just like menestrual cramps but no spotting at all. What do you guys think? I hate to worry, what is the likley hood of having a misscarriage after having a healthy prenancy the first time? I hope not much, please email me

Hi Jen
Hi,
i hate to say this, but just because you had a healthy pregnancy the first time does not drastically decrease your risk of miscarriage this time around. But without having any spotting (good sign!) I would try not to worry - easier said than done, I know! I am currently 22w2d and I have been having menstrual like backpain too, but I guess it is much more likely seeing as I am getting significantly rounder! I would suggest that if it is still happening in the next couple days that you call your doctor and ask if you should come get checked out or what you can do.
All the best.... :d

Extremely eHealthy
Hey hun.. R the cramps very persistent and very sharp??? If they feel just like menstrual cramps I wouldnt worry.. Ive gotten those alot too. .Mostly in the first 2 months of pregnancy. I am 3 months (my 1st one) and havent miscarried yet. . I told my doctor and he said not to worry, that it was normal. So unless they are very painful and serious I wouldnt worry.. And if they do become that then see a doc asap*
