All right, ladies, help me out here. I'm 34 weeks along, and I don't believe i've noticed any contractions. I'm definitely not feeling any pain or discomfort, and i'm not feeling any tightening in my stomach. About the only thing I *have* felt is lower back pain, but that's pretty consistent. I've read that some women don't feel them, but I still can't help but wonder...

Are .B.H contractions something that *every* woman has, whether she notices them or not? Because i'm not entirely convinced that i've been having them (though i'm sure I must be). Thanks in advance.

I am not sure if everyone gets them perse, but I do know they are said to occur to prepare you for labor. Its like a test run!

Well my contractions were moslty in my back, thats why its called back labor...But I had some regular abdominal ones too...But I mean a contraction is a contraction ...It takes over your whole body pretty much and there is no other pain like it!

Well, I always felt my period cramps in my back, so that makes sense now. But my back pain in the last few weeks has been *consistant*. The only thing that seems to help is heat. I'm not sure if i'm feeling the .B.H or not in my back, since it hurts all the time anyway.

I'm scared now though, because I really don't want back labor. If the epidural wears off, they don't give you another dose or something? I don't know if I can manage that kind of pain :( I have such a low tolerance.
