Q: Missed Pills, Unprotected Sex

I got my period on wednesday june 7th and it last 5 days. I started my pack of pills on sunday june 11th and took them regularly then I missed pills on june 18th and 19th. I took two on the 20th but stopped taking them since. I've had unprotected sex a couple days after and before the missed pills. On wednesday june 21st I got my period(so I think) maybe its just spotting. It's lighter than my usual period but I still need to change my tampon every 4 hours or so. But i've had some cramping everyday and my breasts are very tender.(maybe thats just because of the pill) it is now the 27th and the bleeding hasnt gone away (usually my period only lasts 5 days thats why I dont think I have my period now..Just breakthrough bleeding I guess?) my actual period is due july 5th. What are the chances that i'm pregnant? The only symptoms i've really had is breast tenderness. But is there a chance I may get or have gotten pregnant

Ordinarily I would say that one or even two missed pills probably isn't enough to make you ovulate, but since you haven't been taking your pills since the 20th (how come?), there's an increased chance you are pregnant. Of course, you may just be having pre-menstrual symptoms right now, which would explain the sore breasts. A reason you may be experiencing breakthrough bleeding is the way you abruptly stopped taking your pills... So it wasn't a period you were having on the 21st. That would be impossible anyway, since yours ended on the 12th. If you aren't looking to get pregnant, use a condom until you're expected to get your period. As always, if you're late, take a pregnancy test.

You've managed to mess up your cycle with missing pills and then stopping them before your pack was over. Youre breasts hurt because of the hormones .You are not pregnant since your still having breakthrough bleeding that means you havent ovulated. If you do not want to get pregnant I suggest you get back on that pill asap.

Sheesh. Why did you quite your pills? Are you trying to become pregnant?

Go to the doctor, explain to him/her what happened and get back on some form of birth control. Use condoms. Anything is better than nothing.

You're bleeding is caused by your hormone levels getting off kilter.
