Sex Before Period, Early Bleeding... Pregnant? Posted: 06-28-06 03:47am
I had sex the night my period started.
I'm a little worried because even though
we used a condom, after he came, we had
sex again a few minutes later without
using a new one. I've read that this
isn't good since the condom can leak or
even slide off. This alone wouldn't
bother me that much, but I started to have
what I thought was a light period a few
weeks early. Turns out I read something
about implantation bleeding that can occur
a few weeks after conception. I'm really
worried about this... I'm not ready to
have a kid... What do you think my
chances are of being pregnant?

Nope! Not likely that you are pregnant on
especially the 1st day of your period.

More than likely not even close to
pregnant. Use birth control consistently,
it only takes one time.

Heh, thanks. I know that it's unlikely, I
just get paranoid sometimes.
Last night I was thinking about asking my
mother about birth control.
She offered to take me to the doctor to
get it about a year ago, but at that time
I was too embarrassed and didn't want her
to know my boyfriend and I were having
sex. So I just told her to "shut up."
lol. I know she would readily take me and
just be glad that I asked...

I was in your situation once. I just had
to break down and ask her to take me even
though I told her to shut up more than
once. I stayed on the pill for 7 years.
I got off after I got married and we had
sex once without a condom and i'm 22 1/2
weeks pregnant. It only takes one time.
Better be safe than sorry.

you can go by yourself to planned
parenthood. It would be free. But having
your mom on your side for birth control is
great!

You can also tell you mom your cycles are
irregular and need to regulate them and
bcp will help you....I mean I couldn't
tell my mom either when I was younger. I
would have rather died! Lol....Or do as
ingi says go to planned parenthood

Yeah, I was thinking of going to planned
parenthood...
The only thing that would suck about going
on birth control would be getting an exam.
-_- I know that sometimes you can get it
without one, but they reccomend that you
get one soon anyway.
So wait, if I go to planned parenthood,
it's free?

it can be, go talk to them. If you are a
student (college, highschool) or if you
are living at home with no income, etc.
Get the exam. If you are sexually active,
it is a really good idea to get checked
out. Especially if you've had unprotected
sex.

I think it's pretty normal to be freaked
out by the idea of an exam for the first
time... But I swear it's not bad. I was
terrified my first time; thought it would
be painful and all. But when it was over,
I thought, "that's it???" lol. You really
need to have one, anyway... They don't do
it just to make you feel uncomfortable.
