I've been on birth control for over a
month now, i'm on my 4th pill in my second
pack. On my first pack I took every
single pill except taking one maybe 1hr
late one night and give or take a few
minutes here and there.
Also on my first pack when I took my sugar
pills, I didn't get my period but someone
told me it was normal and my body isn't
adjusted to it yet?
Question is, apparently after 1 month it's
suppose to be active if taken correctly.
My boyfriend and I have done it about 4
times recently and each time he went
inside me,what are the odds of me getting
pregnant, or do you think I should be
ok?..
I'm not so much worried becuase i'm
trusting the pill right now, but sometimes
can get a lttle paraniod after a while and
I don't want to eventuall put stress on
myself and delay my next period..Anyone
help me on this please?

If this is the first time that you have
been on any type of birth control then it
is normal to have some worry. It is hard
to depend on just a small daily pill to
prevent pregnancy. I know the first time
that I was place on the deprvera
(spelling?) which is a every 3 month shot
I was worried and took at least 5 preg.
Test in the first year that I was on it.
Because I do know that with this paticular
shot you do not have a cycle so the worry
was that much worse. So don't be affraid
to ease your worries by taking a test.
Taking them a few "minutes" late shouldn't
make much of a difference it's usually
missed "days" good luck and I hope all
goes well for you

Some women do skip a period while on birth
control, without even trying!
Important things to remember..
Saint johns wort
antibiotics will bith reduce the
effectiveness of birth control.
Birth control is effective after 7 days of
taking it, not one month. Docs usually
say one month because they really want to
stress the importance of taking it
everyday! But read your pill pack, it is
effective after 7 days.

Yeah I haven't taken any kind of
antibiotics, as soon as I heard it can
reduce the effectiveness and it's not
really that good for you I havent taken
any, not even advil for headaches, I don't
want to risk it..
But I should be okay right? It's just a
bit frightening to trust a little pill to
protect getting pregnant because it was
weird when he went in me all those times
because its like...Ok is this working
properly now? Lol
