Migraine Headache Due to Head Injury, stroke, epilepsy, young Posted: 06-29-06 07:40am
My 45 year old brother suffered a head
injury 24 yrs. Ago. He suffered a stroke
and they lost him twice. He was in a coma
for nearly 2 mo's. And was left with
epilepsy and aphasia(sp) and is unable to
speak. He also suffers from migraine
headaches. He has been suffering from a
migraine continuously since june 9th. He
know is complaining of double vision(to
the point where he can't walk) and is now
making strange movements with his hands.
He has been taking to an urgent care
center where is was given phenagrin
injections and suppositories. He was
relieved slightly but still has the pain.
He was also told to try taking excedrin
migraine. He is eating very little and
has to be feed because he can't see. He
had a ct last month and everything looked
normal, and he is scheduled for another
late next week. I am very concerned about
him, but he lives in another state where
my mother is trying to take care of him.
I feel helpless and that the dr's are not
treating this a something important. I
fear that he has had another stroke. Any
help or advise would be greatly
appreciated.
