Earning Money (any Ideas)...
Posted: 06-29-06 10:09am

Okay so basically I am b.R.O.K.E I was supposed to be getting student finance, as of yesterday but they had a couple problems and now I wont be getting any money until next month. I asked my cousin to loan me 200 and I was going to budget it till then...So i've spent almost a hundred of it (in a day...Bleh) because the baby needed some stuff, plus I was out so some of it was on food too. Now my mom wants me to pay back money to her (she's the doing it worst, she knows I have no money till the end of next month and I borrowed this money to last me a month, and she still has no problem taking the small ammount I have). Which is 35 dollars for some medicine and stuff that the baby needed when she was sick...So basically i'm left with 65 dollars for a whole month...I can't do that. So since I already borrowed money from my cousin I cannot ask her for more...So I don't knwo what to do. I start summer school on monday, and with student finance I am not allowed to work (and they check) so how can I earn some money?

Babysitting? You could bring ireland with you. Or maybe sell some of ireland's old stuff (i know she's not that old but maybe clothes that don't fit her or things she doesn't use anymore). Good luck!

Babysitting, ebay, mowing lawns, so they have young mother'sassistance programs there?

Like here if you are low income or young, they'll give you free coupons for milk, eggs, oranges, etc... Ummmm, could you maybe apply for temp assistance?

what do they consider work? Would selling avon count as working? I sell avon/mark products, and I make money with little effort at all. If you are interested you can sign up online and a person in your "district" will call you and meet with you. There's a $10 sign on fee, and you earn 50% your first 4 orders, which can be a ton of money. I made atleast $100 dollars on each of my orders, and they were puney.

go here and select join the avon team. It's easy, and they call you pretty much the next day. And the big bonus is that you get to see all the new products before your customers do and get it cheap, and I mean cheap!

if you want to you can email your information, name, phone number to me and i'll get a hold of my district manager and have them contact yours, but I get nervous about sending my own info over the net, so you can go to that web page too. Either way. My email is frank_ o_721@yahoo.Com

Thanks, I never thought of that before, i'm totally going to look into it. I think I could sell a lot to my moms work ladies, lol.

Thanks to everyone else too who was actually helpful. This site has turned pretty much to crap, minus the few good people left.

I now remember why I haven't posted anything in a million years.

<snipped>

kimmeh, I sell brayden's old clothes that don't fit him anymore on ebay all the time, we even have a hometown website that people from my town go on to sell baby things.

Also, babysitting would be good, especially a couple kids that are older than ireland and won't be hard to manage. I'm sorry your in this situation babe =(

kimmeh, I actually have a lot of girl clothes that would probably fit ireland if you want them i'd be happy to send them to you for free. <3 love you babe.

What size is she in?

I sell stuff on ebay now and then too. It doesn't make much but people go mad for baby clothes. Why not sell your clothes that you don't wear any more too?
If you weren't so far away I would send you loads of layla's old baby clothes most have only been worn once but I guess what you really need right now is the money...
Have you thought of offering to clean peoples house/cars etc? Lazy rich people will pay lots of money for people to clean their stuff! Lol

i'll tell ya what, older women go nuts over avon! They have a whole age defying program and it is expensive. You can have little parties and invite all those women over and let them try all the creams and stuff. You can make hundreds of dollars off of just a few ladies. Some ladies will buy all the products at once, some just one or two, but all of it is good money.

I am looking at the website as we speak, and on monday when I go into school I am going to see if that is considured "working" or not. Because of student finance, I cannot have a job, and there is a certain ammount of money you are not to go over per month of earning outside their funding...I think it's something like 250 dollars or something, but i'm not sure avon is really considured a "job" if you know what I mean. I just can't afford to screw up my funding, but I hope not, because something like that would be perfect and wouldn't interfere with ireland or my school work :d

My mom sold avon for a long time, but got out of it.. Saying it wasn't worth it.. Im not sure her reasons why... Haha, and talking about old ladies that buy alot of that expensive cream is my grandma!!! Shes got the whole line im sure... And its not like that stuff lasts a real long time, so shes spending hundreds of dollars on that crap. People always tell her how young she looks for her age.. So I guess she figures it works and buys it in bulk

anyways, that really didn't have anything to do with earning money... But its hard when you can't really get a job!... But good luck with whatever you do.
