Help Asap!-on Bc, Had Unprotected Sex, He Pulled Out
Posted: 06-29-06 10:15am

:?
I'm realy worried and nervous thinking I may be pregnant.

I've been on birth control for almost a month now.

My boyfriend and I just started having sex this past sunday and since then have done it (all for a grand total) of six times....Unprotected
every time though he's pulled out in plenty of time before ejaculating.

What do you suppose are my chances of being pregnant?

I want to get the morning-after pill but the place in town here is not open today so i'm going in tomorrow just to be sure.

What do you think about my chances of being pregnant are and about doing the morning-after pill..?
Am I being smart? If I am pregnant will this, I hate saying it and I don't like it at all, "abort" the small little baby that would come along?

Birth control does not abort a pregancy..It would not harm the embryo..

You are protected from pregnancy 7 days after starting birth control pills..They are effective by now, as long as you have taken one every day!

In my own response to the above reply...

So are you saying that since my birth control is in full affect I should not worry. I won't be pregnant??

You're probably not pregnant... But if it would help to put your mind at ease get the morning after pill anyways.

I wish more clinics that hand out birth control would tell girls when their birth control becomes effective.

After 7 days you are covered. You are ok. You are taking the birth control pill to be protected from pregnancy. Taking the birth control pill as prescribed, you will not ovulate. If you do not ovulate, you cannot become pregnant.

Thank you very much guys- you've all been very helpful to me. It just seems so weird to think that that little pill can prevent and does prevent a pregnancy...I think I will though go tomorrow and take the morning-after pill just to put my mind at ease like you said.

Thanks again everyone :d ...I think i'm in the clear. I'll let you know next week for sure! That's when I take my placebos so I should get a visit from aunt flow  i'll let you know..Thank you!

Your cycle may get messed up. Please know that you may bleed within a few days and your period may be delayed.

The morning after pill is more hormones.

I'm not telling you not to take it. I'm just letting you know it could mess your cycle up.

To my understanding: if start my first placebo this sunday, I may not get my actual period until maybe wednesday or so...

If I take the morning-after pill now will that delay it so much more that I won't maybe get it at all or will it not..?

If it delays it that much and I do miss my period, should I go take a pregnancy test the following week I take my active birth control pills??

You are most likely not pregnant!

If you have been taking the pill everyday , you are protected!!

No morning after pill needed.

I agree with carifairy. We both said it before, if you have been taking your pills everyday, you are more than likely not pregnant.

K, thank you ladies.

I appreciate it very much. I don't think i'll do the morning-after pill tomorrow anymore...I'll just go with it and wait to see if I get my period next week!'

sound good??
