Vaginal Cuff to Remove Cancer
Posted: 06-29-06 12:39pm

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy on April 8th 2003. Had my check-ups on time. Today I received some bad news, The doc thinks that my cancer came back. I might need to have a vaginal cuff done. Can you please explain that to me and what type of proceedure will be done.

I'll need to know what kind of cancer you had previously that neccessitated the removal of your uterus as well as the results of the check-ups you've had (Pap-tests, tumor-markers) in order to answer your question. Don’t worry, your gynecologist can explain everything to you.
