Ok, I had my son about a year ago. I bled for about two weeks, then it stopped. I got the depo shot in november, and I haven't had a period in about 6 months. I stopped the depo, and know i'm on my period. But its heavy, and theres clots in it. I don't know if my bodys trying to clean everything out, since I never really had a period before the depo. Anyways its freaking me out. But I remember before with one of my kids, it did the same thing. I would get on the depo shot right after having them, and when I got off of it, I bled for awhile with blood clots in it. Has this happened to someone else?? :(

Clotting is due to a hormone that thins out your blood. It simply means your body isnt producing as much to thin out your blood. Believe me everytime you havea period your lining is completely cleaned out and starts to build all over again the day after you finish your period.

Ugh, depo sucks, it can take 18 months before your body is back to "normal"
