I was reading somewhere that if you take
birth control 5 days into your cycle you
protected immeditaly...I started taking
mine like 5 1/2 - 6 ish days......Does
that mean im protected right away??

I believe that if you begin taking the
pills the first day of your period you are
protected immediately. But if you start
on a sunday start it takes about a week to
be protected.

If you start it while on your period you
are protected immediately, usually docs
say start the sunday after your period
starts because sunday is an easy day to
remember!
