Chalazion Posted: 06-30-06 18:24pm
I have had a stye/chalazion in my right
eye for about six months now. I have seen
a doctor. He told me a warm egg... And
eye drops for 10 days.. It has not
worked.. The only thing that worked
before was a steriod injection in my eye.
I wonder if this steriod injection is a
temporary solution or permanent

after 6 months it may have hardened and
warm compresses won't work.

You may want to continue the warm
compresses, sometimes it takes awhile.
If they continue not to work then you will
have to ask your doctor about steroid
injection or surgical removal.
Try castor oil - do google search on
blepharitis + "castor oil". Improvment
noticed by us in 4 days - problem cleared
in 11 days. One recurrence - quickly
dealt with. No further problems in our
case.
