Just Diagnosed W/ Small Tophus, Advice... Posted: 07-16-06 07:12am
Hello.
I'm 34 and have suspected I have gout or
some sort of arthritis for several years.
Recently, I started running again, and
increased from every other day, to every
day. After three days of the changed
schedule, my foot became slightly sore, so
I stopped running. Two days later, after
being on the road a lot, and being
dehydrated, my foot became extremely
angry. It was angry for about a week
before I went to see someone about it,
although I was on 400mg naproxen 2x day
and was drinking tons of water.
Anyway, I finally went to see the doc, and
she prescribed allopurinol and colchicine,
which seem to be working, but i've been
left with a small tophus on my big toe
(less than the size of a dime).
I guess my questions are, will this tophus
go away, if so, how long will it take?
And will I be able to run again?
Thanks!
Justin

Impotency can be caused by
psycho-emotional reasons. It seems that
your ex girlfriend “took” from you
something more that your virginity. It
seems that you love her in some special
way that is not the case with other girls.
If you are so fond of sex , you might
consider calming down and settling with
your ex girlfriend and to have regular,
safe sex with her. Maybe you will discover
what it is that is so special in her. If
you want to be with her any more, you can
ask for expert help from a psychiatrist or
mental health professional about treating
impotency.
