Ok, I have been having this weird discharge. It doesn't burn or itch, it kinda smells but not a strong odor (i only notice it when I use the toilet). It is a yellowish color and it's slimy and stringy... I am 20 weeks pregnant. Should I be worried?

But it doesn't itch and I have no discomfort at all with it. I don't even know it's there until I wipe and it's on the toilet paper... It's not always yellow as well, and I know it's not an std *sigh*.... I see the doctor in the morning, i'll mention it to him... I've just been having a really healthy pregnancy so far and I would hate it if this were something bad :(

At Least Babies Are Worth It!
I doubt it is anything much at all. Sounds pretty 'normal' to me. Pregnancy is such a lovely time in a woman's life when her whole body works against her! We can't hold our urine. We have different bowel movements. We discover new aches and pains and we can't even take anything (good) for them! Our bodies stretch and become deformed literally forever - you never get your shape back! Our boobs sag and get droopy after that painful time and maybe even some cracked nipples from breast feeding - just for good measure and an extra bonus. Our feet and ankles swell to a full size larger than they were before. We can't tolerate some foods and get terrible morning sickness for months on end. When we thought we got to go without tampons/pads for 9 months, we discover we still have to wear a pantyliner because of obnoxious discharge that never ends. Our boobs leak. We fart a lot. And dammit we are cranky!

Welcome to motherhood. Please enjoy your stay! ;)

Well, I went to the doctor's this morning and I waited to see him for about an hour and the nurse came in and checked my urine, my blood pressure (118/80), and the baby's heartbeat (147) and told me that the doctor had 2 emergency c-sections this morning so they rescheduled me for in the morning! So I didn't get to ask him about the discharge :( so I guess i'll have to ask him in the morning! :) but, i'm happy b/c now I get to hear the heartbeat two days in a row:)

Oh and I prolly should add, I briefly mentioned to the nurse about my discharge and she said to mention it to the doctor tomorrow, and said that since i'm not having any burning or itching, then not to worry :) so I feel good:)

I talked to the doctor today and he said that it's completely normal as long as it doesn't burn or itch or have such a foul odor that others notice it. :)

It made me cry :) but happy tears b/c the doctor said "wow mom, listen to that heart. It's so healthy. 153 bpm. Your little one is growing so well" I was so glad to hear that I cried :)
