Went to Hospital Today Posted: 07-20-06 12:30pm
I went to the hospital today to go over
the pain relief procedures and I was quite
surprised about the delivery suite, it had
a birthing pool, toilet and everything in
it. Its reassured me about all the
different pain relief and I am opting for
gas and air definately. I really do not
want pethidine or epidural, but I might
want to give birth in the birthing pool as
it sounds like a pretty cool idea as I am
always calm in water anyway :d
i told my midwife about the discharge and
the itchiness I have been getting and she
took a swab from me (not nice!) and sent
it off to be tested. She thinks I have
thursh and has persrcibed me with some
cream, which I have to take three times a
day. I have to wait for my swab results
to come through to my doctors and then
maybe ill be perscribed something
different but ill have to wait for that.
She had a look at the babys heartbeat,
which was good and took my blood pressure
which was perfect as usual and she felt
the baby. The baby is now engaged in my
pelvis and its bum is up in my ribs.
Apparently its going to be a big baby.
Poor me :( lol at least its healthy

Unfortunately not, the couldnt find out
the sex in the 20 week scan because it
moved too much. I even had to get up and
walk around for the baby to move in the
right position for her to see the heart
properly. But it doesn't bother me now,
as long as my little baby is healthy :d

and shes putting weight on everywhere but
I do have a feeling that it is going to be
a boy...A lil footballer lol
