With my daughter I was about 3 1/2 to 4
months then she kicked so hard my dr was
worried that i'd have broken ribs!!! She
was a delightful & easy baby except
for the reflux & desire to be on the
move at all times!!
My son on the other hand, I lost his twin
at about 7 weeks & I realllynever felt
him move, he was very lazy (i also didn't
have any contractions & my water never
broke his head just crowned!! & I had
to do all the work, he sure wasn't doing
any) but I doubt he's stopped moving for a
second in almost 9 years since.
So, my point is that all pregnancies &
kids are different, if your dr can hear a
heartbeat & all tests are normal,
don't worry if your pregnancy doesn't
follow the usual pattern or if your baby
doesn't do this or that when people say it
should. As one pedeatrician told a friend
of mine who was concerned that her son
wasn't doing this & this at a certain
age "ahh, but has he read the books that
tell him all this??"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Around 4 months you should start feeling
the baby move. It will feel kind of like
gas, but its probably the baby, it also
depends on your size, if you are a larger
woman, you might not feel the baby until
around 6 months. It all depends.. I
know, that is the most exciting part of
being pregnant, is being able to feel the
little one kick. Oh..I want another one.
:p

When I was pregnant with my daughter I
felt her move early on and she was so
active in there. She would move so much
other poeple could actually look at my
tummy and see her. She made these large
lumps in my tummy and they looked like she
was trying to come out through my skin.
She would constantly kick me in my rib
cage and would always be up close to them.
Now with this baby, I felt it move around
14 weeks. It has always been near my
pelvic area and doesn't move as much as my
daughter did. This baby feels like it's
lying across the bottom of my stomache.
I can always feel it move around my
blatter. Which is totally different
from my first pregnancy. So dont feel
like you are weird if you dont feel
anything right away or if you do feel
something early on.

With my daughter I was about 4 mos or so
when I felt her kick for the first time, I
believe they start moving before that but
you cant feel it until around 16 weeks. I
felt her first move on the 4th of july
independence day!!

Kicks

Hi, the kicks will get much stronger over
the weeks and then they get so strong that
it gets uncomfortable once in a while.
I used to get kicked "down there" if you
know what I mean.(i swore that she wanted
out right then.)that kinda takes your
breath away. But dont' be worried it's
not too bad and it doesn't last long.
I just figured that it means a very
healthy baby. And my first baby was huge...
Take care and good luck
