You Never Know Posted: 01-18-04 13:36pm
Hi my name is latoya and i'm pregnant with
my second child. At the beginning of my
first pregnancy I weighed only 125. At
the end of my pregnancy I was up to about
150 at the most. I didn't start showing
until after 7 months. With regular
clothes on people still didn't believe I
was pregnant. They said it just looked
like I had a bit of a gut. Everyone
thought I would have an under weight baby,
(even the doctor said it was a little odd
for me not to have gained much weight and
asked if I was eating correctly. My
daughter was 7'2'' at birth. Then the
doctor realized I was just carrying small.
All baby and very little fat.
Now I am 6 months pregnant with my second
child and I was already showing at 4 1/2
months. I'm not huge or anything like
that. I weight 126 before I became
pregnant and now I weigh in at 146. Most
of the weight is out front. My legs,
arms, butt, breast size and pretty much
everything else is the same as before I
was pregnant. I have gained my weight a
whole lot faster this time, but I just
figure it's because this is my second
child (or this baby will be 10 pounds
lol). Anyway how much weight did you
gain already? Did you have an ultra
sound because you never know if you'll be
surprised with multiples? Whatever the
case just ask your doctor if you feel you
are gaining too much weight. You can
always slack up on eating and drink lots
and lots of water. Water makes you feel
less hungry therefore you eat a bit less.
When you snack, try some whole fruit or
carrot sticks and cuccumbers. I pigged
out on grapes and total raisin bran my
first pregnancy. I was a health freak.
I hope I helped you some. Let me know
how you feel about my suggestions.
