Stan, I noticed yu list this as one of
your symptoms
could you perhaps expand a little further
on it please? I think I have the same
problem at times aswell.
What I experience is everything seems like
your in a dream. Its not a nice feeling
at all and almost as if things arent real.
Like I know where I am at that point but
at the same time I dont know, if you get
me?Lol!
Im wondering if this would be a result of
anxiety stemming from hypo or from the
actual hypo itself?
It is a horrible feeling - I wouldnt wish
it on my worst enemy!

I have got that like 2 times. It can take
up to a week to go away. It is a terrible
feeling and understand exactly what your
going through. Stay positive it will
pass. I have read it does link to anxiety
which hypoglycemia can cause.

The disorientation is more like a feeling
of I don't know where I am. What you're
talking about is
depersonalization/derealization. I've
gotten that too. I'm not sure what
causes it. It's actually a brain state
brought on partially by increased blood
flow to one of the areas of the back that
mimics a state found in meditation. I
heard it's the brain trying to divert your
attention to stop anxiety. It does suck,
but you'll notice it go away when you
start to get better. The best thing to
do is to keep going, you have to almost
create this "robot" personality that you
activate when that crap comes on.
